[vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][vc_column_text]About the area

Who has ever heard of a “Grätzel”? A Grätzel (sounds like bretzel) is a Viennese name for parts of residential discricts, like neighborhoods. Alternative spelling is Grätzl, Gretzel, Gretzl, Krätzl and Kretzl.

A Grätzel usually comprises several blocks of houses but has no official boundries. One part of a disctrict can have several Grätzels (see Wikipedia).

This blog generally reports about the 7th district but the specific Grätzel of interest is the area reaching from Neubaugasse to Westbahnstraße and Kaiserstraße – including the side-streets of course.

Our neighborhood (“Grätzel”) around Westbahnstrasse in Vienna’s 7th district here we present you our neighborhoods Westbahnstraße | Kaiserstraße and Neubaugasse, probably the finest outdoor malls in the 7th district of Vienna.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][magazine1 featured_post=”yes” meta_info_large=”yes” thumb_small=”yes” magz_categories=”uebers-graetzel”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
